When you visit our website, use any web- or mobile-based applications provided by Flux Lounge, shop, create an account with us, or otherwise interact with Flux Lounge, your information is controlled by The Effervescence LLC d/b/a Flux Lounge (“Flux Lounge,” “we,” “our”). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through this Policy.

If you do not agree with our practices, please do not use our Services. Continued use of https://www.flux-lounge.com, our scheduling and membership platform, or any future Flux mobile app constitutes acceptance of this Policy.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to information collected when you:

• Visit or interact with our Website (https://www.flux-lounge.com);
• Use our online scheduling and membership management platform, accessible via the booking link on our website;
• Install or use a Flux Lounge mobile app (if launched, via Apple App Store / Google Play);
• Communicate with us by email, text, phone, or social media; or
• Enter promotions or surveys that link to this Policy.

Third-party sites or apps that do not link to this Policy are governed by their own practices.

2. Children

Our Services are not directed to children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 14. If we learn we have done so, we will delete it. Where a participant between the ages of 14 and 17 uses our facilities, the account, reservation, and payment information is provided and held by that participant’s parent or legal guardian, and we collect the participant’s name, date of birth, and any health information the parent chooses to disclose to us for safety purposes. A parent or legal guardian may review, correct, or request deletion of that information by emailing privacy@flux-lounge.com.

3. Information We Collect

Personal Information: name, postal address, email, phone, DOB, Stripe payment-token, booking-platform account ID, future-app push-token.

Minor Participant Information: for participants under 18, the participant’s name, date of birth, emergency contact, any health information disclosed by the parent or guardian, and the parent’s consents to breathwork and practitioner services, together with the executed Minor Participant Waiver.

Usage / Device Data: IP address, OS, browser/app version, pages viewed, in-app screens, click-paths.

Location Data: coarse location via IP or mobile OS (if you grant permission).

Communications: support emails, SMS, social DMs.

Aggregate / De-identified: site metrics, heat-map analytics.

4. How We Collect Information

1. Directly from you via forms, account creation, app registration, or check-in.
2. Automatically through cookies, pixels, SDKs, and click-tracking (see Section 6).
3. From service providers (our scheduling and membership platform, Stripe, Squarespace, Apple/Google for app analytics).
4. From social platforms when you engage with our posts.

5. How We Use Information

• Fulfil reservations, memberships, and purchases;
• Operate, secure, and improve the Website, our scheduling platform, and any mobile app;
• Send transactional emails and push notifications (if you enable them);
• Personalise offers and advertising (see Section 6);
• Perform analytics and research;
• Detect and prevent fraud or misuse;
• Comply with law and enforce agreements.

Flux Lounge is not a medical provider; we do not create HIPAA-covered records.

6. Cookies, SDKs & Online Tracking

We and selected partners use:

• Cookies / Local Storage for login, cart, and analytics;
• Google Analytics for site metrics (Google offers a browser add-on to limit Analytics tracking);
• Meta Pixel for advertising attribution and custom audiences (manage ad preferences in your own Facebook account settings);
• Click-tracking heat-maps (aggregated, non-identifiable) to improve site design;
• Mobile SDKs (if our native app launches) for crash-reporting and in-app analytics.

Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies. Doing so may impair some site features. We do not currently respond to Do-Not-Track (DNT) signals.

7. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal data. We share only:

1. With service providers (our scheduling and membership platform, Stripe, Squarespace, Google, Meta, future app-analytics vendors) under contract.
2. For legal reasons or to protect rights, safety, or property.
3. Business transfer, meaning data may transfer if Flux Lounge is sold or merged.
4. With consent, for example when you link a social-media promo.

8. Your Choices & Rights

• Account Access/Update, via our scheduling platform or future app profile screen.
• Marketing Opt-Out, via the unsubscribe link or STOP by SMS.
• Push Notifications, disable in your mobile OS settings.
• Cookie Controls, via browser settings or the links above.
• Data Requests, email privacy@flux-lounge.com.

We are currently below CCPA/CPA thresholds but will honour verifiable requests.

9. Data Security & Retention

We employ industry-standard TLS, encrypted storage, and least-privilege access. No system is 100% secure. Data is retained only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined or as required by law.

10. International Users

If you access the Services from outside the U.S., you consent to data transfer to the U.S. and jurisdictions where our providers operate.

11. Changes to This Policy

Material changes will be posted at https://www.flux-lounge.com/privacy-policy (and in any future mobile-app settings) and emailed when required. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
